Description :
This property contains a cleared swath running west to east, leading to the Nonquitt salt pond. The cleared area is generally quite wet and includes some standing water that provides habitat for amphibians. Moss and ferns are abundant throughout the area. An old cart path bisects the property from north to south and intersects the cleared swath. This path runs through predominantly wooded habitat, dominated by red maple, oaks, tupelo and pitch pine. |
