DNRT Membership Dues Increase Notice
Dear Members,
It is because of you that DNRT has grown immensely over the course of its 52 years. Each year, I take tremendous joy to report on new properties protected, trails opened, and events held. Every one of those successes springs from your support. While we constantly strive to bring in funding from grants and charitable foundations, it is the membership dues that form the foundation of our annual budget.
DNRT has held the same membership dues for over 20 years, a period in which we protected over 2,300 acres and opened 15 miles of new trails. While dues have remained constant, the costs DNRT incurs to pursue our mission have only gone up. Because of the increase in costs we have all seen over the last 20 years, our Board of Directors has approved a modest dues increase for the Student, Individual, and Contributing levels. Our membership dues beginning in 2024 are as follows:
Student: $10
Contributing: $35
Family: $60
Sustaining: $100
Sponsor: $250
Benefactor: $500
Patron: $1,000
Leader: $2,500+
We have compared our membership dues to those of other similar organizations and no matter at what level you choose to contribute, I hope that you will find tremendous value in the work that DNRT does. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to serving the community through our mission to preserve and protect Dartmouth’s natural resources for people and nature, forever.
