Bobcats are important predators in eastern forests, and their numbers appear to be increasing locally according to recent camera trap data. The Rhode Island Bobcat Project uses GPS collars, camera traps, and citizen science to better understand how bobcats use highly fragmented, densely populated landscapes. This talk will focus on project methods and objectives and will present research completed to date. $10 per person.
