Bring your little explorer as we journey through the woods! Each month we will visit a new property and have a new topic for your preschool aged explorer to learn about. All sessions include a take home activity (these take home packets cannot be guaranteed for those that sign up with less than 24 hours notice).
Fall Session:
- Thursday, October 8, Colors in Nature at Ridge Hill Reserve
- Thursday, November 12, Rock Stars at Slocum’s River Reserve
- Thursday, December 10, The Red Fox at Destruction Brook
Spring Session:
- Thursday, February 11, Shadows (or Snowflakes – weather dependent!) at Slocum’s River Reserve
- Thursday, March 11, Magical Creatures at Paskamansett Woods
- Thursday, April 8, Wind! at Ocean View Farm
- Thursday, May 13, Watch it Grow at Star of the Sea Reserve
- Thursday, June 10, Feathered Friends at Frank Knowles/Little River Reserve
These walks are geared for 2-5 year olds. Each walk is $10 per family. There is a $5 discount when signing up for full fall session or $10 discount for full spring session. All walks will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
