Let Nature Speak: A Sensory Immersion
This session is full. To be placed on a wait list, please email kendra@dnrt.org.
Description
Join a trained guide for a slow paced quiet wander in the woods where invitations will be offered based on the Japanese principles of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). This practice brings us back to our senses and has been scientifically proven to increase well being, calm, and restoration.
This is a slower pace than most DNRT walks and will include periods of sitting and contemplation. Feel free to bring a towel or blanket to sit on and bug spray. Children over 10 are invited so long as they are comfortable with extended periods of quiet.
