DESCRIPTION

Russells Mills Woods is a 36-acre property located in the historic Russells Mills Village of Dartmouth. The property features wooded uplands, a forested wetland with an intermittent stream, vernal pools, and two distinct glacial bedrock outcrops. The neighboring farmland is privately owned (no public access) and is also permanently protected from development.

Russells Mills Woods offers nearly 1 mile of hiking trails. Visitors can pass through towering straight pines, wander between huckleberry bushes, and clamber on old growth tree trunks.
The trails have been marked with trail markers with letters on them in order to accommodate visitors that are colorblind.
