TerraCorps is a leadership development and capacity-building organization that works at the intersection of land conservation, food systems reform, and environmental justice to create a future where land is the foundation of health and well-being for ALL people in EVERY community.
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to spend my time outdoors, rain or shine. Born and raised in Bristol County, I was lucky enough to experience the beauty that Massachusetts has to offer. It was these experiences that shaped my path for the future – from spending time and volunteering at the Lloyd Center for the Environment, or going to New Bedford Vocational for their Environmental Studies program, and currently to pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation from UMass Amherst.
It is my pleasure to be accepted to the TerraCorps program and to be able to assist my hometown land trust, Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust. I am looking forward to engaging the community and building connections to create more opportunities down the line, for myself and for others. If you happen to come across me whistling to the birds on the trails, don’t hesitate to say hello or ask any questions you may have! I love to be of assistance, especially if it helps spark an interest in the environment.
