Welcoming our Summer Seasonal Employees!

Josh Harrington and Brayden Quinn

Every summer, DNRT hires two seasonal employees to help the Land Steward manage our 42 miles of trails. Grass grows, vegetation spreads into the trails, and a variety of tasks arise that require extra hands, such as stocking maps in kiosks. This summer, we are excited to have Josh Harrington and Brayden Quinn as our seasonal field technicians!

Brayden has worked for DNRT as a Daffodil Ranger during the spring for the past two years. He is entering his senior year at Stonehill College, where he is studying electrical engineering. Brayden wanted to spend another summer working outdoors before pursuing full-time indoor employment, which brought him to us this season. When he’s not out on the trails with us, Brayden enjoys playing disc golf in his free time.

Josh recently graduated from Roger Williams University with a degree in criminal justice before accepting this position. Prior to working for DNRT, Josh independently provided landscaping services in his hometown of Swansea. He was eager to continue working outdoors this summer while gaining experience with an environmentally focused organization. Josh plans to pursue a master’s degree with an environmental focus and hopes to build a career in the environmental field. After work, he enjoys spending time gardening in his backyard—without power tools.

If you see our seasonal employees out in the field this summer, be sure to say hello!
